Art + Business
Pioneering a new initiative Kunstkonsortiet (the Art Consortium) with the aim of fostering qualified collaborations between corporations and the arts. By bringing together stakeholders from the art world who provide services to the business world the goal is for the majority of Danish companies to gain insight into the potential of art and know where they can activate it. Connecting the art world and business world with the aim of creating a long-term change where art becomes a valuable and integrated part of Danish business practice.
Mette Marcus is the initiator and the lead of Kunstkonsortiet: ArtBooking / CHART / Diakron / Komposit / Kunst på Arbejde/ Kunstrådgiver Tone Bonnén & Pro Tempore Art
Founded in 2025. In partnerhip with Danish Industry and supported by Bikubenfonden.

Museums + Collectors
Mette Marcus is partnering with Museum Exchange, the first digital platform for art donations, to explore new possibilities for art philanthropy and collection building in the Nordic region. In 2025 and 2026, Marcus will among other tasks, lead a series of conversations with Nordic museums and collectors to identify areas of support and what role technology can play in increasing access to art in the region through loans and gifts of art. Since its founding in 2020, Museum Exchange has facilitated over 1,500 gifts of art to its membership of more than 350 of the leading art museums in North America.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture Denmark and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark.
